About Pepa

I am Pepa Bonnín, born in Mallorca and I belong to the fourth generation of a family with a jewelry tradition.

I create jewelry from a small town in the center of the island, nestled among carob and almond trees, surrounded by the humid, salty air of the Mediterranean.

When I was a child, I spent my summers in a small fishing village on the island's southern coast. Eager to arrive, I went straight to the shore to find the natural treasures the calm sea offered me. That's how I began making my first necklaces of shells, snails, and tiny sea urchin skeletons, strung with my father's fishing line. A prelude to what would become my destiny and vocation.

It was as if it had already been written; this would be my path to follow. After training at various jewelry schools in Barcelona and Paris, and learning a lot from my father, I knew my jewelry would reflect my origins.

Feeling deeply rooted in the history of the Mediterranean, and from this context, I design my pieces by delving into the origins of jewelry, imbuing them with lost meaning and symbolism, and drawing inspiration from and evoking the Mediterranean cultural past... the sea where I was born.

I project myself into my jewelry and express myself through it. I hope you find yourself among them and that they help you show yourself as you are, define yourself, and connect with yourself so you feel authentic, confident, and at one with your true self.

Without forgetting that jewelry expresses individuality, I believe that from the moment it becomes part of a woman's life, that jewel becomes something unique.
